Makale ÖzetiSismik taban yalıtım yöntemi, yapıların depremlere karşı korunması için geliştirilmiş olan en etkin yöntemlerden birisidir. Yöntemin uygulanması yapılara ilave bir maliyet getirmektedir. Depremlerden sonra işlevlerini sürdürmeleri gereken köprüler, hastaneler gibi yapılar ve nükleer güç santralleri, müzeler gibi özel yapılar için yöntemin uygulanmasının getireceği ilave maliyet önemsenmemelidir. Ancak, ticari amaçla inşa edilen konut ve ofis binalarında, depreme karşı koruma yöntemleri ve bunlar arasındaki maliyet farkları önemli olmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, 1. derece deprem bölgesinde olduğu kabul edilen 6 katlı örnek bir betonarme konut binası ele alınarak, bu binanın sabit tabanlı ya da sismik taban yalıtımlı olması durumları için toplam yapım maliyetleri hesaplanıp karşılaştırılmıştır. Bunu yapmak için İdeCAD Statik ve ETABS bilgisayar programları kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar, bu tür binalara sismik taban yalıtım sisteminin uygulanmasının, ülkemiz ve günümüz şartlarında % 40 ~ 45 civarında bir ilave maliyet getirdiğini göstermiştir.

Article Summary in English Seismic base isolation method is one of the most efficient methods that have been developed for the protection of structures against earthquakes. Application of the method to the structures causes an additional cost. For bridges and hospitals which must continue their functions after earthquakes and for special structures such as nuclear power plants and museums, the additional cost due to the application of the seismic base isolation system is not taken into consideration. However, for residential and office buildings which are constructed for profit purposes, earthquake protection methods and cost differences between them are taken into account. In this study, considering a sample reinforced concrete building with six story, assumed as situated in the first seismic zone, for the cases of fixed-base and seismic isolated-base, the total construction costs have been calculated and compared. To this end, the softwares of IdeCAD Statics and ETABS have been used. The results of the study have shown that, for the conditions of our country and currently time, the application of the seismic base isolation system to the residential and office buildings causes about 40 ~ 45 % an additional cost.
